Once again the area around Ovansiljan in Dalarna will be the host for fantastic musical events. It’s time for the seventh chamber music festival Vinterfest in Mora, Orsa and Älvdalen and artistic director Martin Fröst and Dala Sinfonietta welcome you to take part in the celebrations. The programme includes return visits from the violinist Janine Jansen, the viola player Maxim Rysanov and the cellist Torleif Thedéen, three distinguished musicians who have received critical acclaim for their Bach interpretations. We also encounter for the first time at the festival the British pianist Kathryn Stott and many more celebrated chamber musicians.
