Baltic Sea festival

The Baltic Sea festival, this year in its eighth year, focuses on music, environment and leadership with concerts and fascinating seminars led by the leading speakers of the day. This year the array of outstanding participating ensembles is more extensive than ever including the Mariinsky theatre choir, orchestra and Mahler Chamber Orchestra. And the festival witness the birth of a new national youth orchestra! Conductors this year include Riccardo Muti, Valery Gergiev, Esa-Pekka Salonen and Daniel Harding.
