Welcome to the 43rd Umeå Jazz Festival. We persist in introducing the very best Scandinavian and world-class artists in the field of contemporary jazz and improvised music. Umeå (650 km north of Stockholm) may be a northerly outpost of Jazz, but we have unique traditions, knowledge, and respect for the artists involved in this form of music.
