The Julita International Chamber Music Festival
The Julita Festival begins this year in Julita with a performance by Trio Monti, winners of the European Chamber Music Competition and concludes with the final of the Swedish International Duo Competition in Ericsberg on 22nd August. All in all 6 concerts of the highest quality with internationally acclaimed young performers, including the saxophone quartet Sonic Art from Berlin. The festival also includes a major seminar on the Swedish music scene today and a course for young musicians aged 14-18. The Duo Competition, Sweden’s most major international chamber music competition will be held from 19th to 22nd August in Katrineholm.
